First snowgrouse mentioned this site where you can make a 3D animated doll, then zoefruitcake created one of herself in a library reading a book. So I had to have a go. You do have to create an account though, and I also found it very annoying that once I'd selected an animation, I couldn't not have one, so I gave up and gave my doll a paper lunch bag to swing in her office. It was better than most of the options, but luckily you can link to an unanimated version.

Snurched from tiamatschild and kernezelda, it's mini-me and Vila, made here. :-) There isn't a lot of choice for features and short hair so they were the best I could do.

Well, not really. :-) Someone e-mailed me a couple of days ago and asked for permission to use the B7 cartoon faces I did a while ago on my site. They want them as what they called 'talking heads' on an e-learning site for 14-19 year olds called Biz/ed, run by the University of Bristol. I was delighted to give them the go-ahead and now you can see me, Soolin, and Dayna talking about business (scroll down). I hope they use some of the faces with more expression like Vila, Avon, Gan and Tufty.

I have no idea how they found my site. [Edit]: By googling for cartoon faces. And the avatar site I used seems to have disappeared which is probably why they don't acknowledge it.

Oh yeah, and the plumber came this morning and fixed the taps in the guest bathroom, so no more gushers (or 'eshers' as The Meaning of Liff called them) wetting guests in embarrassing places. I just have to tidy up my computer corner which is strewn with books, zines, and papers, go me! And now the house is tidy, we'll yet again swear we'll keep it that way. And probably fail, given Greg's obsession with hoarding everything he gets, including irreparably broken stuff.

OK, here they are: B7 dolls. snowgrouse has already done most of the guys and brilliantly too, but how could I resist having a go at my own Vila? [sigh] Almost 1000 hairstyles and they don't have his. Eh.

Nicked from snowgrouse, a fun timewaster: the Candybar Doll Maker site. I gave up before I found eyebrows that weren't almost in my hairline, but I made a skinny pixie me with a tame lion cub. Tip: To save a doll, use the print screen button and crop it in a graphics program. I'm tempted to make some of the B7 women but it's dinner time.

I did Blake and Tarrant, so they're all here except Travis.

I wasn't happy with some of the pics so I changed Cally to a shorter-haired version as seen in 'Redemption', even though she has her 'Seek-Locate-Destroy' smile. I also changed Soolin's hair to make her look less manga, and found a way of doing Jenna's hair with a combination of back and front styles. Any better?

OK, I couldn't resist. I made some more B7 people using this portrait generator to keep my Vila company, even though quarryquest already made Dayna and Servalan. I know I used the same outfit for Servie but it was perfect; I started from scratch otherwise though.

Due to the lack of decent hairstyles, I couldn't do Blake or Tarrant, and poor Jenna looks like the artificial gravity failed. (Edit: I since got rid of the big hair.) Anyway, here they are. There's also a bonus Avon hacked off with his laptop.

I had another play with the avatar generator and had a go at some Farscape characters (the relatively humanoid ones anyway) or as close as I could get. Can you guess who they are--you especially, astrogirl2?



I'm not at all happy with the Crais--there weren't any decent moustache and beard options and his hair isn't right either--not that Chiana's is.

[Edit] In response to astrogirl2 who was quite right, I've changed Zhaan's eyes to blue. I'm sure they were yellow in at least one scene, but I've seen screencaps which have proved me wrong. Here is a particularly lovely one.

Sorry, astrogirl2, I couldn't do a Stark but you might be able to mock up a Zhaan. Skin and eyes comes in all colours including blue and yellow. Oh, and you can even put an eye in Noranti's forehead.
