B7 Card 2007
24 Dec 2007 04:06 pmHere's the B7 card I sent out this year, for those of you whose addresses I don't have, and those of you overseas who haven't got it yet. As far as I know, that's all of you but vandonovan even though I've had several from you. :-(
The boys were a little annoyed that Cally and Jenna
wouldn't let them open their presents till after midnight.
"Ooh, far too big and heavy to be yet more lockpicks to Newcastle,
whatever that is. I just hope it's not a pack of those black
fossil fuel rocks Avon gave me last year for some reason..."
"Oh, lovely! A gourmet pack from Lindor: brandy, chocolate,
wine, cheese, Mars Bars, and those cute little balls they do
that look like chocolate Death Stars!"

Amazing dreams of a white Christmas
23 Dec 2005 06:04 pmI didn't realise that the SF mag Amazing still existed. After buying several from the 50s at the local pawn shop (along with a lot of others of the same vintage) I went back today to see if they had anything else in. I found two modern Amazings from 1999 and 2000, and they look pretty good too, packed with good stories and reviews of SF novels. One has a cover featuring a lovely painting of Lyta and G'Kar which matches a story about them by JMS; among the others, there's also a Heechee novella by Frederik Pohl. The other has Captain Proton on the cover and a story about him; how geeky is that--a story about a fictional character's favourite fictional character?. One of the other stories is a Harry Harrison alternate history. Pretty good reading for $5 each.
And here's a different look at a White Christmas that a friend sent me. Vila would approve.

Yes, it's Santa-hat Vila.
15 Dec 2004 10:20 pmYep, I gave in and made a Santa hat icon. People don't wear them here, but astrogirl2 is right. Vila is cute in one.
And just so it's not completely a GIP, here are the first season crew's Christmas greetings to each other which I wrote a couple of years ago.

Happy Holidays!
22 Dec 2003 10:42 pmI think that covers everything: Hanukkah, solstice of either kind, Christmas, or just a break off work which we call a holiday here.
And to mark the occasion, I've made you all a Blake's 7 greeting card.
Thanks for being great friends.
[Edit] The card will only be kept on the site's server for about a week from today.
[Edit]And therefore I shall save it behind this cut:
