RIP HD

My computer wouldn't boot up this morning; yep, my hard disk has died--yet again. Greg, ex-hardware engineer, installed a second-hand one last time. I hope he finds another to put in soon because I hate using IE7 on his PC, not to mention the cramped mousing position among all the cables and extra stuff. I miss Firefox and its spell-checker.

And since the printer's attached to my PC on the network, I can't even print from here. Damn. I'll actually have to write a note to a friend by hand. This is not easy. I'm a bit out of practice except for scrawls meant only for me and somtimes illegible at that.

At least my stuff is backed up every night so I won't have lost anything.
