I don't believe this

It's my first day back at work after being ill. So I went out to start the car (the just-repaired and repainted one) and the battery was flat. I'm sitting here waiting for the AA and feeling incredibly pissed off. This means I'll have to park at the mall and walk to work, the last thing I wanted to do with my still-crap energy levels, and I'll worry all day that one of the surprisingly many old people in the area will hit it again.

Why didn't the bloody thing go flat on Saturday?
