Kittens

We're off into the equinox gales to see the little kitten I'm getting from a friend in the country in a few weeks. She's the one I got Claudia from, and she also now breeds Bengals who are spotty and leopard-like, but out of our price range (and also liable to be nicked). We're getting another Burmese because Greg likes them and Claudia may be more welcoming to a kitten who is slightly related, but I'd like the next one to be from The Lonely Miaow charity.

I have seen the Bengals: solid and lovely, and one had the most amazing blue-green eyes like opals. Patsy told me they don't like being picked up or sitting on laps, but that they're very affectionate (the ones I met were certainly very friendly) and like sitting by one's feet.

Occicats are beautiful creatures too; do you know any? I'll be happy with a tabby rescue kitten next time; I do love tabby markings and spots are really only a subset. :-)

I'm a bit worried after some of the comments that Claudia not be very welcoming, but we're getting the kitten because she's missing Tessa so much despite all the extra cuddles and attention.
