I hope we get to see more of them. Perhaps the fan love will make Moffat bring them back next year (I'd say the whole current season is written already).

Story has it, after Neil Gamin tweeted Moffet saying that Vastra ought to be an actress as her day job, then she could be a Victorian Silurian Lesbian Thespian.. he offered to write a couple of episodes, for free, if they gave them their own show.

Thing is, the BBC had already budgeted for a new season of the Sarah Jane adventures when she died.. so as well as being out of pocket for the already filmed episodes which they can't show now...the production company is going to be missing that money too if they don't have a show to make with it.

So, what with fandoms reaction, there's a definite chance of 'The continuing crime-fighting adventures of Vastra & Jenny' in some form or other.

Ooh! There's actually hope then! Of course a Victorian series would cost a bit more with the settings, but they must have a few lying around. :-D
