3-day challenge

3daychallenge is up and running again. You have three days to write about (or draw etc) your character(s) mixed with water. You add your contribution as a comment with details in the subject line.

I took the opportunity to write a rather sad piece about Vila that's been in my head for months since "Blowing in the Wind" came up on my MP3 player while I was driving in the rain. Yes, it's song fic, but since this challenge is about water and I need to write something for the fanfic100 'rain' prompt anyway, I decided to exorcise it.

How Many?

Speaking of fanfic100: I'm getting there. I'm up to 79. OK, I'm using Vila stories I already wrote, but I'd take forever otherwise and I've got other stories I need to write.

Oh, that piece is just so incredibly sad and beautiful. It actually made my eyes threaten to tear up a bit. Which is extra impressive, considering that anything that looks like songfic tends to induce something of an automatic allergic reaction in me. But it works there, absolutely.

I'm not keen on songfic myself which is why I held on to it for so long. The whole thing just came to me as I listened to the song; the words just seemed to fit GP so well.
