Day 28 - Earrings

Today's entry for the naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is two pair of earrings because I finally have the supplies and they're fast.

Earrings


The ones on the left match the necklace I made two days ago, and the ones on the right go with the amber and black necklace I made in March. They're not a perfect match but the best I could do, and I hope they're far enough away from the necklace to look like it.

I haven't been wearing anything but plain studs for months now my hair's chin-length in the front but I think these ones will show quite well.

To match the necklace, the blue ought to have been at the top, but I wanted it to be the most obvious colour when I wear them.

The thing with that is getting the hits to make it worthwhile. I'm going to make gifts though, and last night at Borders I saw book marks made of cord and beads: a nice idea, though their beads were cheap and nasty.
