PicoWriMo

I'm thinking about doing picowrimo because it's a great idea (500 or 5000 words in November) and a very clever name to boot, but I don't know what to write. I have several unwritten stories, but they're all fairly angsty. I want a change. I want to write something light and fun. Any ideas?

I have written:

• The crew being captured by aliens and sold as pets - Pets
  
• Blake in a bottle (he's a genie) - Wishful Thinking
  
• Body swaps (every series should have one) - Mistaken Identities
  
• Everyone with a cold but Cally - Cold Comfort
  
• Dragon fic (more serious than the others) - The Stuff of Legends

I will not write baby fic; either the crew having them or being turned into them.

If anyone has any ideas, please comment here. If nothing grabs me that I think I can whack out 5000 words on, I won't sign up, but will just finish off the Star Trek crossover I started for a Multiverse orphan request ages ago, poor neglected thing.

Yes, but it's obviously Avon who will meet the Queen. And betray them all...

Or not. Avon also fits the "sceptical Susan" role.

:-) I wouldn't map them onto the children anyway, but create a new adventure like the one with Eustace and Jill.

Yes, I think it would be more fun if it was set in Narnia, but Vila was entirely free to have his own adventures rather than retelling a story with different characters.

True, it's better that way. The other advantage of course being that you could set it in any Narnian era you like.

What, like set it some time between "The Magician's Nephew" and "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe", for example? I think that's the biggest gap of unaccounted time in Narnian history. Then you have the rule of the Witch before P,S,E & L arrived. Then you have the time between them and Caspian, where the Telmarines were ruling. Then you have Caspian, and then Rilian. I can't remember how much time there was between Rilian and the events of "The Last Battle".
