Sure, go ahead! A lot of my posts are Blake's 7 fanfic but you could skip those as I don't think it ever got shown in Germany. However if you think you'd fall for an old British SF show full of snarky, bickering, witty characters--think House in space--like I did four years ago (seduced by a rerun here) then Amazon UK has the first three and best seasons on DVD. :-)

You've moved around a lot! I lived in Frankfurt for three years, also London and Israel for one each, and I've been all over Europe and to Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The closest I got to South America was the Panama Canal though; I'd love to go there, especially to Peru (and back to Mexico for that matter) but I doubt I'll make it now. Too much to do and not enough time to do it.

What made your parents move to Auckland of all places after all the exotic countries they lived in?

My father was jobless for nearly two years here in germany - too old to find a job here. He has a friend living in Wellington and he suggested to send his CV to some company in Auckland - they wanted him to work for them right away and so he moved there last August already, my stepmom and my youngest brother moved there in the end of December.
They love it there. We'll go and visit them next year, hopefully. They are living in Papakura.
