A pity they didn't ask about how the very term 'friends' affects people's reactions to friending and de-friending. I think 'reads' and 'read by' would be so much better.

And [livejournal.com profile] kalypso_v wanted to see a picture of me in my pilot's hat (I hesitate to call it a flying helmet as it's so soft), so here it is if anyone else is interested.

And there were a lot of questions to which the answer was "not applicable" if you'd never defriended anyone, so I wasn't quite sure how to answer those. I went for Neutral in the end.

Me too. I think I've only ever defriended one person. I like the term friend though. I do get very fond of all the brilliant people whose journals I read. I only took a defriending personally when a friend pretty much cut me off altogether and being removed from her friend list felt like the final end to our friendship. Fortunately, it wasn't. Mostly I'm just very grateful that people want to read my journals. I regard being on anyone's friend list as a great compliment and I understand that I may get removed because of lack of space or simply because the reader has lost interest in the journal.

I regard most of my flist as friends too, but communities are different.

I love your B7 character LJs! I've friended them all as Vila because I read all the in-character stuff as him (we're logged into different browsers) so he can answer in character. He can't respond to ones like Anna and Carnell because he shouldn't know about them, but I do read them and enjoy them very much.

Avon was extra good about Horizon. You do them all well. More Gan, she asks hopefully? ;-)
