One of the many things I appreciate about this show - recurring minor characters like Cally get their time in the spot light, too, and get fleshed out. Also, with regulars Starbuck, Boomer, Laura and Six and recurring characters Duella and Cally you have so diverse female characters that none of them is being stuck with being "THE girl". They're people, just as diverse as the male characters.

Except for the fact that they're all beautiful. But I'll forgive that if they have personality too--which they all do--and at least they have one older woman in Laura.
