LJ and ice-cream

Two unrelated things.

  1. Firstly, I'm getting most of my LJ notifications, but not all. If you think I should have replied to you and haven't, please let me know. This isn't just me incidentally; others have had the same problem.
  2. I usually only buy ice-cream in the holidays. I bought three small Moevenpick cartons and had some last night. Ahhhhhh [Homer Simpson-type drool] They are amazing. Coffee-Mocca (sic), Tiramisu, and Gingerbread. The tiramisu tastes better than the stuff I had at a restaurant a couple of weeks ago. [vows to be strong and only eat one serve at a time]
And the sun's shining! I think it might really be summer at last, even if I'm still in long sleeves. Yay!

Sorry, just checking, but you know about this (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/recent_comments.bml), don't you? It lists the most recent comments posted in your journal, and that you've posted. Sometimes useful.

There's never a wrong time for ice cream. Those sound fantastic.

Thanks, I found all those ones I think. It's the comments in other people's LJs they might have replied to that worry me.

Sadly, it's always a bad time for ice-cream for me. I'm sure to put on weight over the holidays. So if I eat it, I make sure it's the very best and most decadent stuff I can lay my hands on.

Yes, all your bad weather seems to have migrated over here. Storms. Hail. Top of 18. I turned my heater on for the first time since -- a few months, anyway. Because my feet and lower legs were soaked. Because I had to go up the shops because I realized I'd run out of distilled water for my humidifier. And while it was just starting to rain again when I started out, it came full-on with another hailstorm before I got to the shops. (sigh)

Sounds exactly like what we've had for the last month! Same temperatures too.
