Efficiency does not pay
I got a contract to reconcile the debtor data on an old computer system with that on the new one it was moved to. Three to four days work, they said. I did it in less than a day and went home early. They asked me back today for another job which I also finished. So I ended up just doing 12 hours work and being paid accordingly. Greg said I should have been slower, but I don't see the point of being bored.
Oh, well, now I have two days to:
catch up on my e-mails
write some ficfritter away more timehave fun onb7_rpg
get my car fixed while I don't need it to go to work
I might also go in to the market on Friday and wander around the stalls, eat yummy Indian food, and get a massage. Mmmmm.
