Days 1, 2, and 3

Huh! I just realised this post didn't cross-post to LJ. I hope it works this time.

The poll had a slight majority for posts every three days, and I'm already behind so I'm going with that.

As I have a hard time thinking of topics, this year I looked for 30-day art challenges. I found three which gives me a choice of 2 or 3 topics each day. Click on any image to see a larger version.

Day 1
The topic was "yourself" in two of the lists, so here I am, drawn then put through a filter to make the result a bit more interesting.


Day 2
The choice was "animal" or "pet" so I did Jasmin sitting on the kitchen mat, making the colours very limited. I think this one would work well as an icon.


Day 3
The day's challenge was favourite food or sports. I don't have a favourite food (or favourite anything really; it's so hard to choose from enormous fields) so I drew a footballer. I tried to do an out-of-focus crowd in the background but it detracted from the player too much so I went for the good old gradient, my standby.

And very naughty! She our walk-in wardrobe door id it's not closed properly and yanks our clothes off hangers and shelves. She got in again last night while we were out. Oy. At least my necklaces were spared this time.
