Ewww. Putting my hand in the puke Jasmin left on my pillow last night is not a nice way to wake up. I'm glad the only thing in my shoe this morning was her fish toy.

Here are three much nicer stories about cats which made me happy.

A white rescue cat saves its new family from a fire on its first night.

A black cat was rescued by firefighters in Masterton (6 photos of a very Sebastian-looking cat).

And this one's from today: an Auckland cat called Molly turned up after being presumed drowned when she fell off a boat.

Following your links I found this- It's cute- the London Zoo has set up an interactive website for the pet cats of the world. I wound up adding Natasha twice, because the first time I accidentally loaded the pic of the vet bill for her spaying instead of a photo of her! If you give your email they send you a link for editing text & other choices you made, but there doesn't seem to be any way to edit a photo or to delete an entry.

Well, I found your Ashley's photo.

How? I searched for cats called Ashley and zip.

I used the drop down menus to put in Cat/Female/ (left the color blank)/Ashley and then hit Find Cats. Then I grabbed the map and dragged it to the left until I could see New Zealand. And I clicked on the tabby face. And up popped a photo of Ashley which said 'Sweet little green-eyed silver tabby, much loved.

There's also an Ashley in the US, which might be why the map didn't center on your kitty.

Ah, OK! I thought I had to move the map to NZ first, not after. It centred on London though; maybe that's default.

It's working now! I kept getting a map of London yesterday but I can see all mine if I search by name - and other cute cats. I edited my entries to use landscape photos.

Weird fact: Most Sebastians seem to be black!

Hah! People are playing with them-- I put in Cat/Male/ and Tiger for the name, and on the state of Florida in the US clicked on a multicolorcat face- and it's a photo of TIGER WOODS, a famous golfer, with the description: Likes playing games. Tends to dominate others. Has seemingly many lives left. Likes chasing balls.

I woke up when she jumped off the bed (over my head) afterwards but didn't realise why till later in the night. I had to get up and change the pillowcase.

Awww. I miss Tessa and Claudia, but not their puke. Tessa was the worst; Jasmin is almost as bad. The other two are pretty good though Sebastian dribbles sometimes when he's ecstatic.
