"Big Bunk-Off" Golf Day
Last week, a week that felt like a brief summer, I got talked into going to our company's "Big Bunk-Off" golf day for clients. I didn't play (though I could have if I'd wanted); we just schmoozed clients and provided them with cold refreshments at various holes around the course. The course is just down the road from where I live, but this is the first time I've been inside it; I've always played on public courses. (Golf, BTW, is accessible to just about anyone here but this course is members-only.) And wow, I didn't realise it was that big.
View from clubhouse patio. We spent the morning there as clients arrived, drinking and having lunch on the company. :-)
Two colleagues on one of the gold carts we hared about in.
Golfers leaving hole 15 where three of us were stationed handing out cold drinks and snack bars.
Apres-golf barbecue being cooked.
Last view of course in afternoon sun. You can see houses to the left; we looked at a couple over there when we were buying. Some, like a golfing friend's, have gates onto the course and all of them get balls hit into their gardens and occasionally windows. :-P

This BBQ looks definitely tempting.
I hope you also had a chance to participate on the refreshment and fun!

Oh yes, we could have as much of the drinks and snacks at our stations as we wanted, and at the clubhouse in the evening. It cost us nothing; the company paid for everything.

I hope the food was suitable for all tastes, you've commented in the past about dietary preferences being ignored by other organisers.
