Spacy Friday and geeky plushiness

First of all, today (Friday) is the birthday of Buzz Aldrin, Tom Baker, and DeForest Kelley (making it two doctors, no, three since astrogirl2 tells me Buzz Aldrin has a PhD). Many more good years for two of them anyway!

And here are two geeky plushies from thinkGeek which I rather fancy. Why yes, I've put my email in to be notified of when the first one is available again.

A soft kitty that sings the Soft Kitty song (from The Big Bang Theory)
A plush Enterprise which will go with my plush Kirk and Spock :-)

WOw indeed! I managed to get lots of them when lots of people were selling them online - it was a bargain! Now I believe I have a very good collection of the best ones:-):-)

I bought a lot of B7 ones second-hand online and here when I discovered the fandom about 9 years ago. I devoured them like a mad thing at the time; now I need to go back and reread at my leisure.

Haha, that was exactly the way I behaved over B7 too and later with Sharpe...like an unmature teenager, and still do it!
With B7 I was almost hysterical because the series are not known nor available here. I was online all the time, especially the Hermit website...and it was also how I contacted lovely watervolle and she invited me here!!!:-)

Haha, yes, I was online like that too searching for fanfic and finding Hermit. Watervole was one of the first people I communicated with too, and she put me onto the old mailing lists where I met people who later lured me onto LJ. :-)
