It was pure sexism -- although the individuals involved would have denied it with their last breaths.

Actually, I quite like my view; a larger vista would have much more glare in the summer. I still have terrible troubles with the climate, and the deep shade of my limited view is a very good match for my needs.

As it is, I can see the weather, my boss is throwing a fit at the building admin about the absence of plants in the planters (and he throws marvelous fits) and there's a wall to one side that has geckos running up and down it. I adore the geckos.

I do miss the mountains, though.
