Cats with sundial and statues

Yesterday Greg called me into the kitchen with my camera because he could see Sebastian outside on the deck sitting by the sundial and the Roman and Best[et] statues as if posed. So I got a good photo of him through the window, and sure enough, when I went out the back door, he rushed straight over to me.

And because I took one of Ashley actually on the sundial a while back, here's that one too. :-)

Ashley on the sundial. All three cats were in the garden and I think she wanted a good view of them. And yes, I really need to unpot that plant and put it in the garden.

Sebastian playing statue out there yesterday, sitting and looking at us looking at him. :-)

I am horribly behind with photos, not just of cats but also some gorgeous ones taken on holiday (mosaic garden, art deco etc) and I must get round to resizing and posting them.

Prrrrretty.

My cats are hard to get photos of for the same reason -- Monty always comes to see me if I appear to be paying attention to him from a distance, and I get a blurry picture of a standing-up tail!

What lovely poses they're doing for you -- cats always like to display themselves to good effect :)

Nice photo of Sebastian. Black cats are notoriously difficult to photograph.

Oh, darling kitty photos! They are both so cute; wish I had a kitty. Your deck is wonderful.

I thought you did!

That deck is one of four; you can see a bit of them in this post (http://show-me-a-world.livejournal.com/24655.html). The deck they're on is the one in the first two photos, outside the kitchen. :-)

I love all your levels, even though there are stairs. All my kitties died over the last several years--we haven't had the heart to get another. So we're down to one little 5 pound Yorkie.

I've had a 100% turnover in the last three years. But your little dog is very cute.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww :3 They're both so beautiful.

They are! And those two often cuddle up together too.

Sebastian with Bastet - how beautiful! Great photo, like that with Ashley.
I look forward to your photos!!!

Thank you! That one really worked out well. :-)

Very cute. :)

As is your icon which looks like a baby Ashley. :-)

Oh, I love these photos! The cats must love playing in your deck.

I'm looking forward to seeing your photos once they're posted. :o)

There are four different decks for them to play and sleep on!

I have a big stockpile from when I didn't have a computer and was using Greg's and I just have to get round to sorting through them.

Darlings! Sebastian has got bigger. I love them so much. Gosh I would weep to have a cat right now.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2011-08-29 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
A black one, right?

Sebastian has got bigger! And he's not even one yet. He's a sweet and gentle boy though.

I would take any cat that likes me and needed a good home! I just need my own place first. He has those eyes like Puss in Boots in Shrek. Makes you want to spoil him and pet him.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2011-08-31 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
It's easy to do that to him; he's always up for cuddles. I hope you get a place and cat of your own soon.

Great photos! Your deck looks like a wonderful place for cats to play.

The garden is an adventure wonderland for cats: four levels of decks, lots of trees and bushes, exploring underneath the decks and the (pole) house... It was a nightmare for us trying to find kittens when they were first allowed out though. :-P
