Day 23 - Ashley

Today I had a go at doing Ashley with her lovely eyes. They were the easy bit; her fur markings were hard. I do tell her she's a living work of art.

Thanks! The eyes were the easy part: her markings took much longer and a lot of fiddling and blending.

She has lovely eyes! I took a photo of her on our grey, weathered deck and it looks like a B&W one except for her green eyes. :-)

As for personality, she's a sweet, shy, gentle little girl.

I remember you saying she had wonderful ear furnishing when I first got her, and I thought it was an unusual and cute term. It's the proper one? well, they're well-furnished!

Yes, that's the term for the hair inside a cat's ears. I'm not sure whether it's used for dogs or anything else, though.

Poor little Jasmin looks as if someone stripped the place then! Burmese do tend to have rather bald ears.

She's sweet and gentle, funny little will-o-the-wisp. Often she suddenly turns and scampers from me, but I figured out that means "follow me and play with me!" So I do. :-)

And they were the easy bits! Ashley does have lovely eyes, usually green but certain light picks up gold too.
