I may be some time...

Overseas sites are taking ages to load, and often failing to do so, while local sites are OK. I'm not sure if it's our ISP or some problem with the cables connecting us to the rest of the world, but until it comes right, I probably won't be around much. It takes forever to just make a comment and I keep giving up.

[Edit] Now it's after midnight, things seem better. I hope it's like this tomorrow.

Good to hear it came right for you! We didn't have any trouble, so I suspect it was either your ISP or a local network issue.

I know what you mean!

This is really unfortunate! Let´s hope the problem is not permanent. It is not ideal here either but still managable.
Well, of course I will miss you and Ashley and Jasmin and little Sebastian. But I am here and waiting! *BIG HUGS*

Things actually seem to be loading now, maybe because it's after midnight. I hope it's still good tomorrow. I'm off to bed.

Oh, no! Don't leave us! Stupid internet. I hope it continues to behave itself now.

It's a lot better today to my relief. I've been having trouble with LJ anyway with the DDOS attacks but it was Dreamwidth, AO3, and other overseas sites last night. I often fear being cut off.

Glad it's doing better! My own internet goes down every so often, and I always feel horrible pangs of withdrawal.

I hope today is better for you and you're not offline for very long. I was having problems last night with sites loading slowly, especially my mail and LJ - but we're at opposite ends from each other. Today seems better for me.

Today's a lot better for me too, to my huge relief. At least there's no possibility you'd ever be cut off. :-P

LJ has been off and on for us ever since the first attack.

Oh Well:

It wasn't just LJ last night, but it seems fine now.

[laughs] Knitting would help but I'm not doing any till I've written and drawn my charity story and art. [is wistful but stern]

I hope things stay fine! Once, our ISP was out for a few days and I thought we'd go mad. I do panic a little when it doesn't work for a little while, or is really slow.

We've done without TV a few times, due to various circumstances of where we lived at the time. That was back in the dark ages before we could watch online. :) I don't think we could ever go back to no internet, though. *shudder*

So far so good! I couldn't even comment without trying several times yesterday.

I hardly watch TV, though we do watch what we download on it. I don't watch much online and we're careful what we do as we all have capped access here. But mainly it's how I stay in touch with my online friends and that's what I'd miss most of all.
