Three cats

I haven't posted any cat photos for a while, so it's time for some picspam. These have been taken over the last three months.

Photos of all three

Tunnel games. Jasmin's about to do what we call "U-boat Commander: stick her head out the hole. The tube there is the outside of a cable which was been beloved by two sets of cats now. They love to chase it, especially into the tunnel. Ashley adores tunnel games. She'll go and sit by the tunnel and give us hopeful looks and squeaks. I have to indulge her several times a day.

Ashley in the tunnel. She looks as if she's praying or saying "Namaste". :-)

Jasmin watching a bird.

Ashley showing off her striped paws

Ashley asleep by the plush tiger. At last, I have a photo of them together to match Jasmin and the plush lion!

We can too still fit in one snuggler!

Three cats in one shot!

Vic sleeping on a weekend supplement. He loves being on paper (see icon).

A ball of Ashley on the couch beside Vic

Agapanthus (and Greg's car). I show you these because of the next photo.

Vic in the agapanthus. We've often seen him emerging from them and finally had a look. He's made a smooth little bed in there. :-) To get this photo, Greg had to hold the leaves aside so I could see him.

would you look at the stripes!

Love Vic in his agapanthus bed

I love your cat pictures--you have such pretty babies. Love Vic's hiding place.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
He must have been using it for ages; there was a shallow bowl in the earth. I used to love crawling into places like that when I was little.

[identity profile] entropy-house.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
LOvely! Ashley's eyes are SO green in the tunnel pic!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
They do seem to change in intensity.

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
Awww, kitties! It still amazes me that two to them can/will get into that cat bed! And I think that bird Jasmin is watching had better look out. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
It doesn't happen much any more. They both take up most of one.

The bird's pretty safe from Jasmin, I'm pleased to say. I just thought she made a pretty picture there.

[identity profile] snowgrouse.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Vic is so dignified and Ashley has such ADORABLE paws. I was checking them out before you mentioned the stripiness, because she was clasping them together so prettily in the tunnel pic:). ("Yes, Smithers, soon this tunnel shall be all ours...") And Jasmin is so elegant and pretty!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
I should have said: she looks as if she's praying or saying "Namaste" in that photo! So cute. The undersides and up to her heels at the back are quite black. Funny wee girl.

Yeah, she looks like she is a yoga cat there!:) It's adorable.

[identity profile] luinielle.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
I love your cat photos! They're such beautiful/handsome cats. I love the ball of Ashley photo - the kits like to sleep that way, too. :o)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
I should get one of her tunny: it's spotted rather than striped.

[identity profile] san-valentine.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
Lovely to see more cat pics; they are all so lovely. I do like the ball of Ashley photos and Vic's eyes are such a striking colour in that bottom photo of him among the foliage.

I'd love to have a tunnel that long for my cats. I don't think I've ever seen one that length over here, and I bet it would cost a furtune. Even two-foot ones can cost the best part of a tenner.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
It cost $30 which is about that. I've seen longer Y-shaped ones which kittens and cats just love, but I didn't want the whole floor taken up with it. Jasmin's breeder had one in each litter run, and Ashley's foster home had one full of tiny kittens. :-) They were why I bought this one and it's been one of the best things I bought them, along with the snugglers.

They are all so beautiful!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:12 am (UTC)(link)
They are. :-)

[identity profile] linda-joyce.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 09:21 am (UTC)(link)
Three cats in one shot who are not talking to each other. I just love the look on Vic's face in the agapanthus. To me he's saying ' Oh my godess now I'll have to find another hide'

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 09:22 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe he did. I haven't seen him there since.

[identity profile] jecono.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 11:30 am (UTC)(link)
Love your cats! Sorry to read that about Vic in your other post - I hope he'll recover soon! *hugs*
Nele said she'd like to have a cat, btw. Ha! So now we are two against one (Nils). I told her that we'd have a cat/cats when she'll be six years and when we're living in a larger place. She said she wants a "yellow" cat. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Yellow might be hard! Perhaps a light ginger like the one in your icon. :-)

[identity profile] reapermum.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Lovely pictures. Sorry about Vic not being well.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. Maybe the vet can suggest something that will help his appetite.

[identity profile] emerald-happy.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
D'awwww. Adoooorable. I love them so much.

I spent the weekend at a friend's who had 3 cats. One of them took it in turns to sleep on us. So much fun. The other two were quite old and less lively but also adorable.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Jasmin sleeps on our bed, often us. She can be a nuisance when she's playful but she's so cute. Ashley rarely comes up, preferring her snuggler. Vic used to be there every night but not much lately.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
They are! We give each other a lot of pleasure.

[identity profile] vjezkova.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you for showing your lovely kits again! They are adorable, oh happy ones!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 09:29 am (UTC)(link)
They make us happy too. :-)

[identity profile] glitterboy1.livejournal.com 2010-11-18 08:27 pm (UTC)(link)
They're all lovely cats - thank you for the photos!

The piece of cable made me smile: it reminds me of a piece of green string here that all three of mine have loved. Sometimes, random things seem to just happen to move/react in a way that catches their attention, while other things - including things supposedly designed to do so - have no effect at all...

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 09:33 am (UTC)(link)
They do love the feathery fishing rod, but I rarely let them play with that because they chew all the feathers and pull them out. The cubs ate all the lather strips off the cat of many tails which survived Claudia and Tessa. The tube (and the beloved yellow knitting needle) are much tougher. But yes, many of the toys I've bought (balls, fish, mice) just don't interest them.

And I wish the local lizards didn't. Ashley brings in at least one a day.

[identity profile] jaxomsride.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
Ashley looks like she's been photographed in black and white, even when the rest of the picture is in colour. :¬D They are all adorable.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
Like in Pleasantville (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pleasantville_(film))! We used to call Claudia our Pleasantville cat, and Ashley and Vic are too. If you've ever seen that film, grey and black-and-white cats (which Ashley is if you look at her individual hairs) do look odd in coloured surroundings.

[identity profile] imhilien.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
Lovely pics. :D

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2010-11-19 09:36 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks! They make such good subjects. :-)
