Day 4 - Two apples and a lemon

I didn't have much time today so I wanted to do something fast and easy for naarmamo: fruit including the plum-dark apple I posted photos of here.

Nice, though the dark apple has come out more like the colour of a morello cherry. From the photo, I'd guess it's a difficult shade to capture. I love the colouring you've done on the red apple - that's very lifelike.

That's the easy part! White on very low opacity and gently added with a fuzzy or sharp brush depending on texture till it's right.

Ooooh I love the stripes on the apple and the lemon peel. They look good enough to eat.

Now I'm craving apples and I don't even like apples that much. :-)

They were! I tell you, that dark apple was yummy and not a Royal Gala at all.
