What do you get if you cross Hello Kitty with Star Wars? These cute little guys! They remind me of my potato-head Darth Vader and stormtrooper. :-)

Poor Paul the Octopus. He's getting death threats for his "predictions" and now they've even got Paul recipes. Octopuses have eyes very like ours; I looked at the flags he's had to choose between and my theory is that he likes red and yellow and dislikes blue and green. I do wonder if his predictions have an effect on superstitious players though; very likely. Well too late: he's made his flag choices: Germany over Argentina, and Spain instead of the Netherlands, which are actually the results I'd like to see.

OK, another World Cup reference: a LOTR gif featuring... a certain non-musical instrument. :-P Bwahahaha, the look on Aragorn's face!

I love those little guys! We have a little stuffed Yoda and Darth Vader that I adore.

All those awful things about poor Paul--I could do something awful to those people!

Those Hello Kitty/Star Wars toys are so cute! Darth Vadar is so cute with the ribbon on his helmet. I love your potato-head Vadar and storm trooper - those eyes are wonderful.

Awwww, Totoro! I love the Studio Ghibli films, and that's a favourite. He looks very 3D there; is he a figure?

I can see the appeal of the potato-head figurines for the cats. :o)

I love the Studio Ghibli films, too. 'Totoro' was one of the first ones I saw, I think. Either that or 'Kiki's Delivery Service'. Have you seen the newest one, 'Ponyo'? I just received a copy and I'm planning on watching it over the weekend.

He is a figure. I didn't make this icon, but I do have the exact same figurine. He's plastic and he sits on a filing cabinet atop my desk. :o)

I haven't seen 'Ponyo' yet, but we have it. I'm waiting to see it with Greg; thanks for reminding me. The first one I saw was 'Princess Mononoke', then 'Kiki's Delivery Service' and 'Laputa'. I've seen all of them now but for 'Ponyo', and my favourites are 'Totoro', 'Porco Rosso', and 'Laputa' though it's hard to choose.

I thought he was a figure! How cute!
