Home again
I am home again after an early-morning start to ensure that we got here in time to get the cubs from the cattery before 1pm when we'd have to pay for an extra day. They spent the afternoon running around exploring the house and garden, checking that nothing has changed, and coming up to wanting attention. They've pretty much settled down now, especially after a special treat of tuna followed by a spot (no pun intended) of laser-chasing.
Everyone else seems pleased with their "walks into a bar" ficathon assignment, but I got a character I had to google to remember. They're not even the sort of person you'd expect to find in a bar, so this will be a real challenge. [thinks about ways to turn the encounter into crack]

In the meantime, the koru you gifted me is an object of fierce envy among people in the library:-)

I'm so glad the koru is a success!

Our region here is poor in industry and what was left of it, is crumpling down too. Believe me, I really know your despair. Still, please, do not give up, one never knows. You are still young and the right chance might appear any time.*Hugs*

It was a case of why, oh why, did they pick her!
Having said that the story is actually flowing.
Though I think I'm going to postpone it as a mark of respect.

Anyway, we have a month to write the fics, so you have plenty of time.
