Day 19 - Ceramic Lighthouse

Today's naarmamo is by request. I have a cat collection; Greg has a (much smaller) lighthouse one including a wooden one he bought in Bulgaria. He wanted me to draw the newest addition, so here it is.

It turned out a bit wonky. :-P It has a white, blue, and mottled brown glaze, and takes a tealight, which is why you can't see a door; there's a big opening in the back. I just tried it out briefly and it doesn't give a lot of light, but he didn't buy it for that anyway.

I think the mottled parts have come out well. You're getting a lot of experience at reproducing the textures and finishes of things, especiallly ceramics and glass.

This month is very good for that, I admit. I did some plushies other years and was pleased with how soft the owl came out.
