Good memories of Tessa

It's a year ago today that Tessa died, and here are some cute and funny pictures in her memory. They're all old photos from before I got a digital camera, scanned in today, and include the Bush Baby, the Two-Headed Cat, and a Cat in a Bag.

Closeup of Claudia in the laundry basket. It was a routine to carry her back up and inside when the basket was empty. She's waiting patiently here. I'm going to miss that this summer.

I really need to find and scan the ones of Claudia the Kitten from Outer Space.

Yes, I have a photo gallery of all our deceised cats. They were all either the foundlings or their descendants, all mousecatchers and all victims to accidents or evil, evil people. Unfortunately I didn´t have a digital camera then. Maybe I will learn how to use a scanner.

These are a lovely way to remember Tessa and Claudia too. The first thing I thought of with Tessa on the Stereo was Eartha Kitt singing I'm and Old Fashioned girl. Tessa has the eyes half closed seductive pose Eartha always used for that song.

Jasmin does! She starts on the covers between us, then goes under and snuggles up hard, then gets too hot (I think) and pokes her head out like that. It's very cute.

That picture was unusual for having both of them like that. :-)

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Did she learn it from the other kitties or did she just do it naturally? That is so cute. Noki only snuggles up to me if there are no covers in the way.

I think she did it naturally, as Claudia never really poked her head out much, and she never knew Tessa. Ashley OTOH either sleeps on the chair or at the foot of the bed like the faithful "little buddy" Greg calls her.

Ours usually prefer cardboard cartons, but I've seen Vic in Greg's backpack. The cubs like being carried in their snugglers, much more than being carried without. Perhaps I'll have another laundry basket taker come summer.

She really was the most lovable, affectionate, and gentle little darling. I miss having to type round her, and having her lying on my arm in bed, and "catting" me all evening in from of the telly.

She especially liked watching water running into the handbasin and would sit there and put her paw in the thin stream I ran for her, with great interest.
