For maarmamo today, inspired by vjezkova, I decided to draw one of the many cats I have around the place. This is a painted wooden cat from Indonesia who sits by the TV and is about half the size of this picture.
It's good that this work. I post here anyway, but I don't bother reading until they get a reading filter as too many journals are duplicates like mine.
She makes me happy too with her vibrant colours. :-)
I have a set of three gold and black ones in a similar style, and a varnished ones with black stripes in the same pose. Plus a lot more: a gold panther, and several Rinconadas. I might have a go at a couple of the Rinconadas.
That is lovely, I have a ceramic one, new since your visit, in a similar pose but she is reds and golds. I might have a go at her as a change from Christmas cards.
