Jasmin update, and cat picspam!

I took Jasmin back to the eye specialist yesterday, and she had healed up really well and didn't need sutures! [dances] I didn't post then because I haven't put up any pictures of the cats lately, and it's about time I did. So here we go!

These were taken over about a month. First, two early-morning pictures:

Not even posed, either; I just found them that way! Jasmin's eye is fine in this photo BTW. She just has her head resting on the arm of the chair.

Jasmin in the cat cuddler. I bought this to protect Greg's computer chair from the inordinate amounts of white fur from Vic, and it works very well. The cats love it, and it keeps their fur off the seat.

Ashley doing her "I'm adorable!" pose. The deal is that I have to stroke her or pick her up and cuddle her. Which is not very onerous at all! :-)

I wondered why Ashley was so intent on this paper bag--then a little head poked out!

Kisses! (Well, licks really.) This was taken yesterday after I brought Jasmin home. The thing on the floor in the background is the woofer.

And cuddles! You can see Jasmin's eye (the right one in the photo; her left) looks fine. :-)

Adorable. The extra plushie in particular, just like that bit in E.T.

She's a bit of a klutz too. She knocks things down, including Daleks and model spaceships. I have Russian dolls in halves all over the living room floor right now, and can't fiund all of them to reassemble.

These are all so adorable! The one of Jasmin with the plushies is crying out to be LOL-catted.

As was the one with the sonic screwdriver and the light sabre! She lends herself to comic captions.

Gorgeous photos! I especially like the cuddling ones :)

I'm glad to hear the vet visit was a success.

The cuddle poses are so like Claudia and Tessa's. I've been looking back at older photos, and the cubs have grown so much.

I was very relieved she was all right! I should insure them now. I just need to find out how much it would be for Vic, since he's about 9 now.

I'm so glad Jasmin's eye is better.

I still have to give her the eye ointment three times a day till it's finished to make sure the scar (which is inside her lid) doesn't harden and annoy her eye. But he said it looked very good! :-)

Oh, darling, darling kitties! I love how your cats cuddle--I've never had cats that would do that.

All my cats except Vic do that! Vic is very tolerant, but only affectionate to us.

Aaww I like Ashley! So you have three?

I have four (see icom)! Vic tolerates them all, but never has any contact--exept with us; then he's a smoocher. He likes them though, and when the kittens were small, I could usually find them outside by finding Vic and looking where he was looking. :-)

I have four because Jasmin really bonded to Claudia and not Vic, and Claudia has kidney disease, so I got Ashley to be her friend for life, as Tessa and Claudia were. Claudia still gets lots of cuddles as you can see, so it worked out well.

I was very relieved! And now to insure them.

Awww, they're so playful!
I adore the one with the remote. "She who controls the remote controls the world!"

I once put a remote between CLaudia's paws (http://pics.livejournal.com/vilakins/pic/0000gqc7), but I just found them like that this time!

Mind you, they've been known to change channels, turn the TV on, and change the heat-pump settings just by walking on remotes.

Those are lovely pics, especially the one of Jasmin on the gate, haloed in sunshine. I'm so pleased she is healing well and didn't need the expensive stitches.

My cats do curl up together but they don't cuddle, like yours do. And it's nice to see Claudia having someone to cuddle again.

I've always had cats who cuddle. Vic is the only exception, and he likes being near them.

They are adorable! I love the pictures of them cuddling especially, and it took me a second to realize Jasmin wasn't a plushie. *g* I'm glad her eye is healing well.

She's very plush anyway! She was actually being very naughty up there and knocking things down--I shall have to move the glass bowl--but I had to get a picture.

I have to put ointment in it till it's finished (quite a while, I'd guess) and she has a check-up next month to make sure it healed up smooth (the scar will be on the inside of her lid, against her eye). I'm sure she'll be fine. That stuff's meant to soften it as well as fight infection.

I'm glad Jasmin's eyes healed up well.

I love the pics of the kitties. They're so adorable! I just want to pick them up and cuddle them. The one of Jasmin with the plushies is wonderful.

She looks like a plushie with her short fur anyway!

Like everyone else I love the Jasmin and the plushies. But Ashley on the gate in the morning light is beautiful as well.

She's stunning, esp with the darkness of the carport as background.

I love the one of Ashley on the gate - Tabitha was doing something like that this morning, but I didn't have a camera with me. And Jasmin pretending to be a cuddly toy!

It looks as if Ashley is growing faster than Jasmin? I love her green eyes. And Claudia looks oddly as if she's the grown-up lady wearing mascara!

I was lucky she stayed for a photo, and than Jasmin followed to see what was going on, and jumped up. I managed to get both of them together, but they were moving and it wasn't a good shot.

Ashley is almost three months older than Jasmin; she's about 10 months old now. I'm not sure who will end up the bigger cat.

Claudia looks oddly as if she's the grown-up lady wearing mascara!

:-) I think they all seem to have eye-liner on, and Ashley has extended hers in the Egyptian style. Vic, appropriately, has none with his white face.

Oh, I'm glad she's doing well! And your cats are always so very, very photogenic. :)

This was an extra good crop of photos! I suppose I'm taking more because when Tessa died, I realised I hadn't taken any for the last three months. Often I grab the camera too late though.

I'd love to see more of your little--and not so little--guys.

They are a very photogenic family you have there and Ashley's adorable look would work very well with me too. I'm glad Jasmin has healed so well, no extra trauma for her and no extra trauma and expense for you.

Tessa used to do the upside-down "come and get me" pose too (and it always worked), but Ashley puts her paws beside her head which is a cute twist of her own.

I'm so relieved about Jasmin, and hope she stays out of trouble now.

AAAAAAAwwwww. Gosh, your kitties are gorgeous. :^) I'm so glad Jasmin's better.

I think she realises I helped her by taking her to the vet and giving her meds, because she's ben extra cuddly lately. :-)

Ashley has lovely eyes, though our childhood cat Sam (see icon for aa cat very like him) had amazingly jade green eyes. I love Jasmin's golden eyes too.

Ashley doing the adorable pose is a bit like Rusty, despite the definite differences in species.

I'm pleased that Jasmin is fine, and didn't need any stitching. Were you still reminded of John Clarke by the eye specialist, or has that worn off now? :-)
