Which SF writer am I?

From [livejournal.com profile] communicator. YES! [punches air] I love his work. There are phrases of his which will always sing in my mind.

I named a planet Stryli in his honour (and another one Ataro in ours).

I am:
Cordwainer Smith (Paul M.A. Linebarger)
This inimitably unique storyteller created a future with so many deep layers of history that all the world we know is practically lost in it.

Which science fiction writer are you?

I like his universe as well.

Once again I came out the same as [livejournal.com profile] linda_joyce.

You two should live closer; you have so much in common!

I like Hal Clement too, but can I get his books at the library any more? I wish I could reread "Mission of Gravity". :-(

Interesting quiz... I got Hal Clement. :)

Another good writer. Pity I can't find his books in the library, but a lot of the classic writers are no longer there.

*Sighs* I have never read anything from him either...

I'm not sure how well he'd translate. He has a very distinctive style.

A very cool result. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2009-03-19 10:08 am (UTC)(link)
It is! I was extremely pleased!

Whoever set up the quiz seems to have very good taste in SF. So far I've seen results of Ursula Le Guin, James Tiptree jr, Hal Clement and Cordwainer Smith, any of which I'd have been happy to get myself. (I actually got Hal Clement.)

I haven't seem Tiptree yet! But yes, they're all very god results.
