Bad luck again

We missed out on a second festival (Pasifika) on Saturday due to wet and miserable weather, and just as happened with the Kumeu wine and food one last month, the next day (yesterday) was sunny, calm, and perfect for a day out. This Saturday the RNZAF is holding an air show, and I really, really want to go. I just hope the weather cooperates this time. :-P

Fingers crossed for next week. We don't know what weather we are getting from one day to the next at the moment. This Saturday was fine but drab( on/of dark/ light grey clouds interspersed with flashes of sunshine between the the change overs) and warm, and tomorrow promises wet and windy, today would have been a pleasant day in June. I'm sending the hope of today's weather for you.

What you have to do is say LOUDLY, 'I am not going to the air show, I'm not, I'm not' and then the weather will be glorious and you can sneak off to see the show.

I hope it is good weather for you on Saturday.
I'm desperate for good weather next Sunday, as we have our birthday presents from last year booked, helicopter rides. Obvious the weather needs to be ok

Ooh, I hope you have a good day for that! And I'm glad you won't be flying anywhere near me; the police helicopter's been driving me spare the last few days.
