Claudia used to bite the furniture as a kitten--and look at us sidelong as she did it. I'm not sure how successful I'll be, but I say "No!" in a deep voice (so it's not like my usual one) and clap my hands when they do something I don't like. I've shown Ashley the scratching post, and Jasmin knew about that already, and figure out the scratching map. Ashley may take longer, but at least she stops when I say. I should clip her claws too; Jasmin's need doing again too.
