Geekness

First of all, today is, besides being Armistice Day, my journal's birthday. It's five years old, and those have been five great years with you lovely people. This is the perfect community for introverts like me. :-)

Secondly, behold: The Darth Vader Toaster. BSG is more your thing and you'd like a Cylon toaster? It's probably sold out, but hey, you could get the real thing. ;-)

And now for your pleasure, I present Jasmin the Geeky Kitten.

Cyclotron and sonic screwdriver

Jasmin plays with her cyclotron. There's only one large yellow hadron in it, so there's no danger of collisions. There's also a stupid mouse on a spring, but she's not interested in that. She wants to see that particle accelerate.

I left my sonic screwdriver pen on a glass table (I'm using it to mark off rows on my Doctor Who scarf pattern) and found Jasmin trying to get it from underneath.

She was pretty determined, too. :-) Any strange marks on her are reflections.

Ouch!

Tessa liked being on my lap and I had to type round her while she rested her chin on my arm and purred. I've had Jasmin on my lap, but only about twice; she's got far too much energy to burn.

That's the big advantage with having two - they use up all their energy fighting each other all over the house, so when they interact with humans, it's because they want a bit of peace and quiet!
