Travis. I had a nice career in Space Fleet before that bastard ordered us to massacre civilians and I deserted. It was all downhill from there on, Bayban's gang being rock-bottom.

Vila. Because he did, saving me from spiders (all right, I admit that was an act to get him to act), death by suffocation (but possibly by exhaustion!) and being blasted by Bayban. I like to go by results.

They're not really opposites, are they? I like to keep my room and toolbox nice and tidy--easy to find things that way--but I wouldn't call myself organised unless I'm on a job. I mean, people usually order me about, so I just skive off till they do. Not much planning there, is there?

Kill someone personally. Look, I can handle blowing up a ship or two, but when you can see it's someone like you? I mean, it could be someone I'd get on with in other circumstances, couldn't it? Soolin tried to train me up to be tougher, and I did stun a trooper once, but I had to close my eyes when I pulled the trigger. Don't tell her, will you.

From private tutors who were paid sufficiently well to be discreet. I found Belhangria's degree course somewhat irrelevant to my chosen course in life.

Technical manuals, news feeds... Ah, I note the verb 'like'. Fiction then, the majority of it banned, possibly because it could make the reader think.

Chess club, the debating club, drama club. I was admired for my clear diction.

The absence of reflected colour (do note the correct spelling, and that of 'favourite'), in other words, black. It suits almost every occasion.*

Playing with Zelda in the river when we were children. We would swing out over it on branches and fall into the glittering water. This memory makes me sad now because that river will never again hear the sound of laughter.
