I like this one. The monochrome does work very well. I love how you've brought out the texture of his uniform.
He looks a bit soft and thoughtul for Travis, but you've definitely caught something about him. The hair in particular is good, and the overall shape of the face is correct. Good work.
That you've managed to pull off the texture of his uniform with such stark colors is impressive! It looks great and is so "simply" done! Very nice. His hair is also especially nice, the way it catches the light. I wish you'd give the shadows around his face and neck the same softness you gave his hair and eye patch, but this is still quite well done. I quite like it! And considering how much I dislike T2, that says a lot!
Oh, wow. I think this might actually be my favourite one - and i'm not even that fond of Travis as a character. But this one is just so visually striking.
Yes, it is a mix of styles. I was going for the same look (but in mono) as the Blake one (http://pics.livejournal.com/vilakins/pic/001k03r2), with soft hair and hard shading, but here are tw more versions I've just done: one all soft, and one all hard. I think I like the second one better.
It is very similar, maybe a still from the same scene, I thought.
That's one of the bizarre things I love about Travis 2. He should be the petulant, sort of psycho one, and he is, but there's something unexpectedly introspective about him, too. It doesn't work out real well for him, but in a lot of ways, he's the more cerebral Travis.
He is, especially from 'Trial' onwards. I like him best in 'Gambit', where he shows a lot more of himself than Travis 1 ever did. I almost decided on a still with him in his hat (such a great outfit on him) but went for a more usual shot.
It would have been so interesting had he joined the crew in 'Hostage'.
