Day 20 - Vila brings Avon tea

Today's entry for the [livejournal.com profile] naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is a sequel to Space Vila in children's picture book style. [livejournal.com profile] vandonovan was worried about Avon being sick and Vila laughing, so I assured him that on the next pages, Vila jets over to Avon and helps him to the airlock and brings him a nice cup of tea in bed.

Vila brings Avon tea

See Avon in bed.
See Vila bring Avon tea.
Nice Vila.
That makes up for laughing at Avon.
See Avon's hooker boots.
See Avon's studded pyjamas.
Avon makes interesting sartorial choices.
See Avon throw a hooker boot at Vila as he leaves.
See Avon miss.
Miss, Avon, miss.
See Avon fall back exhausted on his pillow from Space Sickness.
See Vila come back with a chessboard.
Play nicely, Vila and Avon!

My NaArMaMo 2008 Gallery is here.

That's PC Andy, one of Gwen's old workmates before Torchwood ... he is starting to get used to "spooky" things happening when Gwen is called in.

Say "one of your spooky do's, is it?" with a welsh accent and it's great.

Never would have guessed anything from Father Ted! So who is "blows things up"?

Ace, companion of the 7th Doctor. I have some DVDs and she's rather awesome. She's young, has aptitude, and always has explosives in her bag.

Now that's Jack and the Coat! [deploys last [livejournal.com profile] redscharlach icon]

Did you see the Avon she made for [livejournal.com profile] sallymn's birthday?

Must admit I have never watched DW past Five ... never quite got over the loss of Four. Watching Nine and Ten though.

Four's about the only doctor I knew as a kid, plus some Five. I've only discovered Seven via DVDs which were recced by fans. There are entire Doctors I've never seen.

Yes ... I was mainly around for Four, and Three, and a bit of Five. I couldn't stand Tegan and Nyssa, so gave up about then.

I have seen bits of One, Two, Three. Completely unfamiliar with all the others up to Nine. Except knowing that Babyan was a Doctor (but haven't watched any eps).

One day! I bought the Key to Time recently ... I really like the two Romanas. Haven't watched it yet.

Ha! I met Colin Baker, but I haven't seen any of his eps either. He quoted 'City' at me; I was wildly impressed. Quoting form my report:

And when I met Colin in the autograph queue, I said to him that I loved his portrayal of Bayban, and he said, "Fine woman, my mother. She called me Babe, you know. She told me to live every minute as if it's your last. See you in a minute, Vila."

OK, so he paraphrased it and made an hour into a minute, but how cool is that? I grinned all the way home.

That is extremely cool! That's a long time to remember lines!

He's about the only guy not to be at Aftermath.

Yes ... the Avon was great!
