Today's entry for the naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is a another Blake's 7 portrait. I chose a screencap of him as a space captain and changed his outfit to one I prefer. :-)

Well, he is! The cap's from the second ep.

Thanks; I just added a hint of shading in each square. The outfit looks quite soft and velvety on screen, but I've seen it and it's actually made from something courser like woven cotton.

I believe it's called 'the hero'; see above. :-)

Really? As a costumer, I pay close attention to costume details like that, and I would have sworn that tunic was velvet or velor or something. Woven cotton! That's incredible! XD

[looks at costume list. I have the wrong costume. This one (called the brown Prince Charming, I see) from Volcano and RoD may well be velvet. He had another similar one known as the red Prince Charming with Pirate Belt (there's a green one too), worn in Terminal and Rescue. Anyway here's my costume page (http://www.farsight.net.nz/conventions/star1_costumes.htm) from Star One 2004, and it's the red one that was cotton.

Ah, yes. That one I can see much more easily as some sort of woven fabric! They do look very similar though, don't they? XD

Yes; it's confusing because they liked that style on him. The dark green one doesn't have the studs though.
