Catalans like me we aren't happy to see the flag of the invader by the streets as we never watched in all our life. The Spaniards feel proud and superiors than never before and like to show us who is the boss here. A really bad day here. I am happy my father has Alzeheimer today or he would been cried, I sure you (he fighted too much for the impossible liberty of our country... now is too late *sigh*) Bad news for Catalunya and Barcelona will becomes more and more Spanish. Everybody supporting Tibet against the evil China but everybody feels so nice Spain put their boots on our heads, we the Catalans, so evil losers, yeah. (a really bad, bad and sad night for all the Catalan fighters here)
I apologize for my first reaction, I was to in a hot blood moment. And I must add that some of my best friends are Spanish people. I don't think anybody is better than other people at all and lot of Catalans I know are great fuckwards (even myself maybe) but yes, in general we hate bullfights. In all my life I NEVER known a single Catalan who loved them but hate them instead. There are some Spanish anti-bullfight groups but they are too small still. We asked to European parliament for banning that stupid thing but, until know, we haven't had any reply. It seems it is "culture". Well, they were torture shows against Christian people in Roman times and luckily we don't have this kind of games now. Of course, they form part of history and they inspired some great literature maybe, but it is OK they don't exist anymore. It is obvious the great influence of bullfighting in Spanish language and we can't hidde this richness in its literature but I think it starts to be time for leave the show form part from past. OK, I am for maintaining the history and the studies and all that but there is no need of showing to kids how to torture a poor animal to death in public, really. And please, you can support all you want. Even more, I don't have maybe too much right to come to your page and suddenly start to rant in that way just because some few bastards started to scream racist menaces against the Catalans in the street, under my window, flashing big Spanish flags with a bull in it. Luckily there are lot of Spaniards who love their country in a different and healthy way but I start to think that each day it passes less and less :(

A last thing: Catalonia is fighting for having a football team but Spanish govbernment doesn't allows, except for some kind of "amity" and useless matches, not really competition ones. Even Scotland has more freedom than us in all those maters (even, on the other hand, we kept far better our language, we must admit this too) everybody knows the topic Scotish wears kilt, etc... everybody think in Barcelona we love bullfights and flamenco which is not. Last survey: 85% of Catalans we want disgusting idiotic primitive bullfigthing crap is banned while in the rest of Spain is still loved by about a 55%. Quite depressing. Sorry, I am just having a sad night (lot of people here) and I am a bit on the passion moment, even i don't want to kill the Catalan players as some here who call them traitors (poor guys, what they can do?)
