UNIT back in force for series 4--with Martha. I really only know UNIT from other people's posts and fics, but I look forward to this, and I'm glad Martha's coming back. She rocks. I feel I know the Brigadier from astrogirl2's Old Soldiers and I hope we get to see him.

And now for a fun meme from lizamanynames:

Give me two characters from different fandoms you know I'm familiar with, and I'll give you a dialogue between them, without justifying how the crossover would work, how their worlds clashed, or how they could even meet each other--just a silly crossover conversation for fun with no backstory.

I still wish we'd gotten to see the Brig with Nine. I think that would have been such a great character combination. But any time they want to bring him back is fine by me. And I'm really psyched about the UNIT news. It looks like Martha is probably going to be with UNIT rather than Torchwood per se, and I really hope it's true, because Martha totally belongs with the competent Sekrit Alien-Fightin' Organization. :)

I'm debating whether to do this meme, myself. It seems like fun, but I don't need another reason to procrastinate on the ficathon story I'm supposed to be working on. It's reached the sort-of-done-but-needs-work stage, and also the stage where I'm afraid to look at it again, because I'm convinced it's terrible, so it's easy to latch onto excuses not to get to it.
