OK, I'll play (it's only fair...)

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse and [livejournal.com profile] mistraltoes, changing the wording (both were different from this version, but all three mean the same).

What would you like to do with me some day, if we met? If you want to play, put your answer here and then post this question in your journal.

I want to sit down and watch Farscape DVDs with you!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-16 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, that would be cool!

[identity profile] snowgrouse.livejournal.com 2004-05-16 11:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Be fannish with you at a B7 con. I'd also love to travel to NZ someday and would beg you to be my tour guide. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
Ooh, I'd like both of those! I wish my first B7 con wasn't also my last (unless I win Lotto).

Yay, road-trip! NZ's a big place though--about the size of Italy. You'd need a few weeks here, also to ensure at least some of it was in decent weather. You wouldn't need a tour of distant LOTR sites, I take it? ;-)

[identity profile] snowgrouse.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:14 am (UTC)(link)
Some woodland-y LOTR sites would be nice, but any pretty and lush places will do:).

Oh, good, cos there's some spectacular scenery in the South Island but not all of it's easy to get to.

Tessa just pawed me which reminds me--did you find Noki OK?

[identity profile] snowgrouse.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, Noki's all right. Being very curious at the moment and sniffing lots of things. Including the handbag I spilled valerian in *two years ago*. I can't believe it's still driving cats insane... and ah, now OH SHITTING FUCK. She peed on my jacket. Probably because she's been in a marking mood today (butting and scratching things a lot) and because I accidentally interrupted her doing her business in the loo a minute ago. Put her in the loo now and closed the door, hopefully she'll use the litterbox soon. Argh.X-P

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:38 am (UTC)(link)
Ewww! Our cats have never done that. Dropped a klingon or two around the house and puked in various places including shoes, but never a deliberate pee or poo.

Actually, they like their litter box so much we have to put it in the garden shed during the day or the girls come inside to use it. Bloody Alpha cats...

Have a nice long chat about our mutual interests, but mostly about MK!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Ahhh, yes! Lovely man! I must write up my con report, maybe this weekend. It will be a long one, but I have some lovely photos to go in it.

(Sorry, Vila replied to that one, possibly confused by his resemblance to Michael Keating...)

To meet you in NZ and wander around the beeyutiful countryside (well, drive around the countryside) and talk about fannish things while not being run down by sheep...

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Oy, enough with the sheep already. OK, once one got out of one of the city parks and wandered onto a main road while I was driving to work... go on, laugh.

Actually, you Aussies have a lot more of them than us.

Apart from woolly jokes, that sounds like a lot of fun. And you're closer to me than everyone else, so it's actually possible! Let me know when you're back over here again. :-D

Well, yes, if you're talking actual amount of sheep, but you have to go a lot further to actually see them. Wheras landing in Dunedin airport, you just looked out the window to see the sheep and cows... (grin)

Let me know when you're back over here again.

Love to! Any nice cons being planned in NZ in the next couple of years?

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 02:29 am (UTC)(link)
There's one coming up soon I think, multi-media like all of them here. No B7 though. I haven't been to one though some of my friends go. I'm basically a lazy introvert. Star One was perfect for me--all B7, and samll enough for me to thoroughly enjoy.

Hmmm ...

[identity profile] quarryquest.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
How about getting you over here and going on one of those walks Michael leads?

Re: Hmmm ...

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, I'd love that! Every time I saw a rambler on my trip, I thought of him.

OK, that's on my list too for when I win Lotto.

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 09:09 am (UTC)(link)
Go for a hike somewhere scenic near you, cook some really spicy Asian food, then have dinner and a bottle of wine in front of something geeky on television.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 12:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Ooh, a perfect day!

[identity profile] matildabj.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 10:13 am (UTC)(link)
Um, well, I already have met you, but if I met you again I'd love to see some more of the North Island with you.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2004-05-17 01:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm up for that! There are some lovely places you might have missed.
