Well, spring didn't last long. It's winter again. Sigh.

I wish they sold those full-spectrum SAD lamps here.

Pleeeeease don't! Really. I would feel so guilty I wouldn't enjoy it.

It would cost a ridiculous amount of money to send (which is why I haven't bought one) and you have much better things to spend your money on.

I'll have another look to see if there's anywhere here I can buy a full-spectrum bulb for my desk lamp; that's my best chance.

I looked last year and there were some really expensive German ones but I might have better luck this time.

Ugh. We've had the first few hints of what the winter will be like here, and it's not good at all. I'm sorry that you're still not getting clear of yours yet.

Why don't they sell the lamps there? Are they deemed unsafe in some way? If there's no actual rule against them, we should try to organise getting one to you!

I think they think we don't need them though I've heard of one Auckland woman who can't work in winter, she gets so depressed.

And please don't send me one; I'd feel too guilty to enjoy it (see comment to Zoe above). I might be able to find an imported full-spectrum bulb for my desk lamp if I have another look.

We are moving towards winter, which does not make me happy. But oddly, it is pushing 80 degrees today - ridiculous for the end of September. I really have high hopes that global warming will turn the Great Lakes region into the new Riviera.

Thanks, but I won't let you. I'll see if there are bulbs here, or if I can import those alone to go in existing lamps. I need to do some research, but theoretically spring and summer are coming.

Tell me about yours. Is it a lamp with a special bulb, or something more?
