Spring is sprung!

Daylight saving kicks in tonight (a week early; they're giving us a few weeks more this year--yay!) and that always feels like the beginning of spring to me. It's been fine all week and today was so warm and sunny I actually got washing dry outside, then spent some of the afternoon reading (and eventually sleeping) in the sun with a cat curled up on my lap. Bliss. [deploys spring icon]

Oh and here's the funniest LJ and Heroes icon I've seen. OK, the only one; it's a small field.

I hope your spring continues as it started, our autumn is promising to be wet gloomy and cold. The trees are showing their pretty colours though.

Today was actuallly sunny for us in the North East, So there I was in the garden watching a house martin still winging over head and thinking, "It's damn near October and you guys still haven't migrated?"

Yay for Spring! And for daylight saving. We have to wait 'til the end of October to switch over - such a waste.

Ours always went from the first Sunday in October to the last one in March, but people lobbied for longer. Fair enough too because April's usually still really nice.
