The last day's entry for the naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is the completion banner most participants make. I made it, and through a tough and busy month! Now all I have to do is finish my stupid Hirothon story and post it. :-(

I'm not absolutely sure I'll do it again next year unless I come up with ideas for a lot of subjects before I start. And have a considerably better August than this one's been.

It may not be so tough next time -- I found last year was harder to do than this year, though I'm not exactly sure why.
I still have ideas I want to do, and the month has run out! I think I'll do some of them anyway.

Congratulations on keeping up the artwork for an entire month, especially such a busy and traumatic month.

Enjoy not having the pressure to keep producing daily artworks, and enjoy looking at the things you made. I've enjoyed seeing them day by day.

Thinking up subjects was almost as hard as drawing them this time round. Last year I did lots of B7 characters in the styles of Molesworth and the Simpsons which made it easier.

I've given up on hoping for time without more stuff to do than time to do it. It was nice to have a set task each day that didn't involve hassle.

I'll be there if my imagination holds up, I've still got a few ornaments I haven't sketched yet and if I can find one a beginners class in watercolours is on my to get list for this autumn/winter.

That would be great! I can't do art classes because they're all during the day. I'd like to know how to use colour on paper or that stretched canvas you can buy cheap now. Maybe I'll see if there's a weekend class or something.

That is going to be my problem too, I know there are painting and drawing classes both in Newport and up here in the valleys but last year they were all day time ones.
