Day 21 - Avon checks his umbrage collection
Today's entry for the
naarmamo National Art Making Month challenge is another odd one. The idea came from Vila who said in one of my stories (Mistaken Identities) that Avon didn't need to take any umbrage as he had plenty of it already. I know I said no more fanart but I'm flailing around for ideas here.

If you're flailing around for ideas, perhaps you could offer to make people LJ user icons?

I've thought up six ideas I can use; just need four more now.

That's news to me -- phooey to them! I know
For narrow-minded people I don't think a single thing I've done this month qualifies as "art", since I haven't sketched or painted anything, just photographed, digitaled and crafted.
(Kathryn wants to shake the person who discouraged Nico)
This is supposed to be fun, not a chore. Hey, why don't you make some necklaces? That should be a nice change, don't you think? And I know you have an eye for colour to make pretty ones.

Tomorrow I have to take Tessa to the vet, then go to Russian class, so it's going to be a very fast drawing.

I love his cautious expression :)

Thanks! He's even using tongy things. :-)

I really like the detail of the sleeves in that drawing - the folds and shading. They give a very good sense of the fabric and movement.

Thanks! It's one of his very early outfits and they're nearly as big as Blake's.

Deputy Keating is an Englishman now living in Wyoming. He starts to reminice about the travelling fairs he saw back home, and his friends there. To which Darrow replies:
"If that's the kind of company you used to favour, I'm surely not surprised your family packed you off to commit your indiscetions on another continent. A shame it wasn't Australia."
When Keating is trying to talk Darrow into having a go at one of the carnival stalls, Darrow says
"Why should I waste a dime in order to win some tasteless knick-knack ?"
Keating answers: "So you can donate it to the next church tombola and pretend to have a heart."
