I'm glad you liked her. :-) Do you mean the blue on the bodice, or the colour the light teal went when it went over the purple? The latter was a happy accident. :-)

The darker purplish-blue on the front of the skirt. I think it's particularly effective because of the other shades nearby. And the colour blend where the veil hangs over the skirt is clever, if serendipitous :)

I just played with rich colours till I found ones I thought worked. And I'm glad it did, because it only came together at the end.

Did you do that with MS Paint?! Because it's wonderful. You will be seeing an attempt of mine tomorrow. I have to be a day ahead of myself as the evenings are the only time I have spare.

Nope. I'm not sure if you want to know. I started on paper with oil pastels, made a right mess, scanned it in, then used Photoshop Elements 2 and GIMP to fix it up (both do different things better than the other). The background is the paper, and I found accidentally that letting the mistakes show through the top colour very slightly made an interesting effect. :-P
