Thanks! This technique is a lot faster than doing something from scratch.

I must write a b7friday story when I get home. I do not intend to neglect writing or anything else for a month just because I'm doing this challenge. And I must get round to making an art icon...

Thank you so much! He's wonderful. And I will take the icon, yes, and put on my Jarriere stories (though I don't at all mind sharing with others).

You know, it strikes me how the text on the icon is just as appropriate to your drawing as it is to Himself; you always make drawing look so simple! And when I count the colors in the figure, there are only six, aren't there, but how you've made a picture that looks just like him with only six colors, I can hardly comprehend. It's a good thing I like looking at your artwork too much to bother being envious. :)

There are actually nine colours if you count the black and white--and the grey highlights on his jacket. ;-) And the graphics tablet makes things so easy: no mess and all mistakes erased without trace.

The birthday has been wonderful, yes. ::squints at picture:: Nine, really? Hm. See how not-arty I am? I only see black, white, two browns, and two 'flesh'. The highlights on the jacket look white to me. Though that makes seven; am I really missing two others, or are you counting the background colors (whereas I'm only counting the colors in the actual figure)?
