Yay!!!

My Blake's 7 DVDs arrived today. They've taken longer because I ordered them off Horizon who arranged to have them signed. I got Michael Keating's signature which I'd ordered--and Gareth Thomas's!

Plus I got a beautiful picture of Vila which I've never seen before, signed "Nicola, Good luck, Michael Keating'. It's a rather sad-looking Vila in 'Rescue' I think, with what looks like a dust-buster.

"Oh, now look. I don't care if we are the Famous Five* now Blake's gone," Vila said. "I'm not bloody dusting the campsite."

* counting Orac as a perspex Timmy

Oooh! That picture is lovely, I haven't seen it before either. Now wait 'til you hear him on the commentary talking about Jenna's boosters:D...

LOL! I can't wait! Maybe I'll get a chance tomorrow night, along with the RPG and having to watch a film I recorded on the TiVo which Greg wants gone. Too little time. [sigh] I wish I didn't have to work.

Have a happy day!

Lucky you

Great picture, I've not seen it before either.
I saw the box set the other day, I was holding it lustfully in the supermarket for 10 minutes before reason (and lack of funds) set in. It mentioned an episode with MK doing a comentary, let me know what it's like...

Yeah, well, I can't really afford it either, let alone going to the UK. I also bankrupted myself getting my car fixed.

I'll certainly let you know about the commentary. I've already heard about a missing Vila scene which was probably cut because of it being out of character.

Really? A missing scene! Wow, I can't wait for that. My plan is to buy it once I'm back from Dublin at the earliest (depending on how much I spend) or on payday at then end of April.

From what I've heard (haven't seen it yet--I had to go out) I'm glad they cut the scene. It isn't the Vila we know and love.

The strange thing about is that he is acting all Vila in it *even* if he shoots a guard or two. IMHO anyway--he's panicking and making faces. But yeah, shooting guards is very OOC...

Hell, he even squeezes his eyes shut in 'Games' and he was uses a stun clip. Well, it's the only explanation for why he picks off the last one when they're no threat to him, and the trooper not being there later--practice. Maybe Soolin thought he needed it.

Didn't stop them showing Orbit....

I agree it's probably "Rescue" -- I think the 'dust-buster' was the fancy electronic binoculars (monocular?) they were using to spy the landscape with.

And I can't affort to buy the DVDs yet because I am going to New Zealand. And missing you by that much, I expect. :-(

Ah, thanks! I think you're right.
