Sing a song of Vilakins

Oh. all right, I'll play. I left the rudest one out though.

Ding dong! verily the sky
Is riv'n with vilakins singing.

Ding Dong Merrily on High
from the Christmas Song Generator.

Get your own song :

Look, I'm not that bad.

O Vilakins of wonder, Vilakins of might,
Vilakins of royal beauty bright.

We Three Kings Of Orient Are
from the Christmas Song Generator.

Get your own song :

I do my best. [looks modest]

We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we travel afar,
Field and fountain,
Moor and mountain,
Following yonder vilakins.

We Three Kings Of Orient Are
from the Christmas Song Generator.

Get your own song :

Oh, that's such a relief. I thought those wise guys were chasing me.

Your icon is seriously cute. :^)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:16 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks! Make your own at the Bless This Chick (http://www.blessthischick.com/) site! To get different faces, select them with the TV knobs and click on the screen; took me a while to suss that one. They only have dresses unfortunately and I never wear them, but they are very cute.

Well, now I'm curious as to what the rude one was. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know the song and I couldn't get it to come up again, but it was about putting a wreath on someone's vilakins, making him dance. :-P

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
It wasn't a wreath. I found the words after lots of clicks:

There must have been some magic in
That old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his vilakins
He began to dance around.

[identity profile] reapermum.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 01:19 pm (UTC)(link)
That's "Frosty the Snowman"

Sorry I seem to know the words to way too many Christmas songs.

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
You're not helping the rumor that we're separate people.

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Damn it. I wish it to be noted that I posted that first, so clearly you are me, rather than the other way around. :)

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah, except that I started posting two minutes before that, and LJ tried to fuck me over, as it's been doing all day. :)

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'm required to ask what the rude one was.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:22 am (UTC)(link)
[goes to look again] OK, found it!

There must have been some magic in
That old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his vilakins
He began to dance around.

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, it's "Frosty the Snowman!"

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, that's it. Never heard of it.

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
There was a cartoon version of it and everything. It's very well-known in the US. For the record, the replaced word was "head," but, you're right, it sounds much ruder like that. ;)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:29 am (UTC)(link)
I just... feel so insulted! ;-)

Frosty the Snowman

[identity profile] entropy-house.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:34 am (UTC)(link)
It's one of the older non-religious, for kids, Christmas songs in the US. It was later made into an animated cartoon.

The silk hat brings the snowman to life, and he plays with the children, and then he melts, but promises to come back again some day. It's a good song for children, with a strong, fast rhythmic line they can jump up and down and bounce to.

Ah. Thanks!

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
Frosty the Snowman! Sorry, that one's impossible to make dirty. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it sounds like a euphemism to me! (That I've been reduced to one...)

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
Nothing's impossible to make dirty! Or, as Tom Lehrer put it, "when correctly viewed, everything it lewd."

However, the idea of Frosty the Snowman porn is really not something I want inside my brain. :)

[identity profile] redstarrobot.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
My dear, Frosty is pure as driven snow, not because I'm in denial, but because he is literally driven snow. :)

Your Tennant-porn icon makes me so happy. Because, my god, what a geek he is. :)

[identity profile] astrogirl2.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. I must admit, that logic is hard to argue with.

And, really, it's not my Tennant-porn icon, it's [livejournal.com profile] snowgrouse's. I just stole it from her. Because it is awesome. :)

(grin)

Are you up for making another attempt with Skype? I got the Echo123 thing to work, so I think my setup is correct this time.

Okay, I guess it's too late? How about tomorrow? I'm free in the afternoon.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 08:30 am (UTC)(link)
You're off-line now so we could try tomorrow. I'm home about 4 or 5pm my time.

[personal profile] kerravonsen 2006-12-18 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Okay, I'm here and ready now! 8-)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 04:51 am (UTC)(link)
Just got home a lot later than expected (I had to work late). Let me know if you still want to try.

[personal profile] kerravonsen 2006-12-18 05:09 am (UTC)(link)
Yes yes! It's a lot later for you than me. I'm still here.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-18 05:20 am (UTC)(link)
It says you're off-line when I try to call you.

[identity profile] glitterboy1.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 10:27 am (UTC)(link)
I thought those wise guys were chasing me.

Hee! And then they went and left out of the history books the fact that you got there first! That's the problem with wise men - they want all the credit.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh well, they had to put up with an audience with that nasty old git, Herod. It's safer being forgotten by history.
