Christmas tree, B7ness, and geeky gifts

As I bought a new charger for my camera this week (the old one will probably therefore turn up) I can subject you to picspam.

Christmas tree!

The Liberator in stationary orbit by a glass gas giant. There are six other spaceships on the tree from Red Dwarf and Babylon 5. :-P

Prezzies under the tree. Wrapped in spaceship paper is the Artoo Potatoo, in the binary paper is a Bender robot, and in the small package, an ethernet crossover adapter and loopback jack.

The baby wrap behind them conceals a bright yellow plush racing car for 3-year-old nephew Ari; it goes vroom-vroom and beeps when squeezed. It's so cute; it has a plush spoiler and vinyl tyres.

That's so cool!

I really want to get the Serenity for my Christmas tree haha!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 09:49 am (UTC)(link)
Serenity would be great!

I had some pics of some of the other ships (http://vilakins.livejournal.com/159383.html) last year. I'll have to expand my collection. I'd like a Moya too.

Cool!

I've got Red Dwarf, Star Bug, The Tardis, The delorian from BTTF and Ecto-1 haha.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 09:54 am (UTC)(link)
Coolness! Do you use the TARDIS for storage? ;-)

[identity profile] ecossefilmmaker.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 09:56 am (UTC)(link)
I do sleep in it from time to time ;)

Episode 2 of Night is Day (http://www.nightisday.moonfruit.com) will be online very soon...

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 10:03 am (UTC)(link)
I will have to subscribe then!

[identity profile] ecossefilmmaker.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 10:08 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm you may have to haha.

I spent all night uploading it to google video and this morning it still hasn't processed so I'm now uploading it to myspace.

Bloody stupid so it is!

Awesome. I love the lizard climbing your wall behind the tree...

[identity profile] linda-joyce.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 12:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I love your lizard, and the tree. I am going to have to rearrange the living room so I can have a big tree for next year. I've bought the batteries for the flash so the fireplace might be on line tonight.

[identity profile] hafren.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 02:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, I was going to ask, did you know there's a bloody great blue lizard climbing your wall:)

[identity profile] entropy-house.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 05:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I just realized, your lizard reminds me of the silver one that clings to the front of one of Servalan's dresses! :^)

Geekiest Christmas Ever! I am in awe. :)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
I stepped back especially to get him in. He's ceramic and a beautiful glowing blue, bought at a garden show. I love lizards and have several others around the place.

I love that icon!

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
I bought the lizard at a garden show; I couldn't resist him--he's a gorgeous blue. I have several other lizards around the place (though the cats of various sorts--plush, ceramic, metal--outnumber them).

The tree is fake but looks pretty good. I don't like killing them and it's not that easy to find living ones.

We don't have lights but they do look lovely at night. I might take a drive one night down Franklin Road where the residents all light up their houses and gardens, and beautifully too.

Last year was pretty geeky too, but I think this one beats it.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 07:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I do! I could tell from the ceramic droppings on the floor, but I'm making them into a necklace.

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 07:48 pm (UTC)(link)
This one'd drag it down a bit. I have several smaller ones including two silk one I could well attach to a long slinky white dress - and eep, I actually have one! It's the bottom layer of the Roman lady's costume I wear to our feasts. :-P

LOL!

[identity profile] jaxomsride.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 09:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Love the tree and wrapping paper. As its christmas though is the gecko getting decorated or a santa hat maybe?

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 11:26 pm (UTC)(link)
He's trying to climb away from all that!

[identity profile] jaxomsride.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 11:35 pm (UTC)(link)
scrooge salamander?

[identity profile] imhilien.livejournal.com 2006-12-16 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
All Christmas trees need their spaceships... ^_~

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Bah, humbug!" he says. "Mmmmm, bugs!"

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 12:04 am (UTC)(link)
They do. I need to acquire more, though seven is a good number. I'd like an Enterprise and a Serenity and a Moya though.

[identity profile] jaxomsride.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
LOL!

[identity profile] zoefruitcake.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 10:26 am (UTC)(link)
love the blue gecko on the wall behind the gorgeous tree :0)

[identity profile] vilakins.livejournal.com 2006-12-17 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
He's getting a lot of attention! I couldn't resist buying him when I saw him.
